The Schwartz Construction company built the music practice building on my property in Huntington. The work was complex: we needed to build a room within a room, sometimes called a floating room so that I could isolate the room from the nearby Highway 24. The building was stick-built. The Schwartz company worked with me over many design changes and improvements. Together we came up with a plan for a building with 27x20x10' outside dimensions and a final 25x18x9'3" inside dimensions. The building is sturdy enough to handle 2 layers of 5/8th" drywall on all walls. The Schwartz Construction team was very interactive with me. We spoke often and made the building I wanted. The construction properties of the building are astounding: the building is solid, the concrete is solid, the structure looks great. They picked siding to match the house exactly. They built the building over time to allow other trades to come to the site without interference. I will definitely recommend Schwartz Construction to any prospective customer. The entire Schwartz Construction team completely outdid themselves. We hired the company to remove our old wood deck and build a new, bigger, two-level deck…and boy, did they deliver! From the beginning, Luke was very thorough at explaining our options for materials, colors, railing, etc. He even went above and beyond to get me another sample of a deck board that I saw online because I thought the color would be perfect to match the inside of our home, and sure enough it was. They demo’d, poured new footings, and completely rebuilt the massive new deck all within 3.5 days. They took all the proper steps as far as having the building permits, utility lines located, and the city came out to approve the footings before they rebuilt. The quality of the materials and amazing craftsmanship shows. Our neighbors even came over before it was completely done and were so impressed, they got Schwartz Construction’s contact info and had them over to take deck measurements! The team asked questions along the way to make sure it was done to our liking, and the finished product most certainly exceeded our expectations.
